Meet Lauren (Lo) Waller ~
Hello, I am Lauren. Most call me Lo or Laur.
I am an educator, certified nutrition practitioner, licensed-nationally certified pediatric physical therapist assistant. I am also a wife, and mama. I am an expert in typical and atypical motor development (specializing in birth to 3 year olds) and I am most passionate about helping families live healthy energetic lives! When I am not seeing clients, I am training my two German Shepherds, lifting weights, baking sourdough goodies, loving on my baby boy, and trying new foods/drinks with my hubby! I look forward to connecting and learning about how I can be of assistance to you and your families!
As a Pediactric PTA I have been trained in typical and atypical movement. The past 7 years I have gained extensive experience in providing treatment to enhance movement skills and support children’s individual developmental needs. My years of formal education, continuing education, and clinical practice in person and online is what allows me to be here with you now, sharing my ideas, my tools, and my recommendations.
In 2022, I became a Nutritional Health Practitioner after years of navigating infertility, eating disorders, and chronic pain. Through my own health journey as well as working with many clients I rediscovered the wisdom that everything is more simple and interconnected than we could ever imagine. Completely dissatisfied with the care and diagnoses I was getting in the allopathic model, I was determined to take a more natural…. approach. Watching my body rebalance, heal, and welcome a healthy baby boy into this world inspired me to help families do the same.
As a licensed Physical therapist assistant I use exercise, movement, and a complex understanding of the human body to help improve the well-being of children through the reduction of milestone,,,,,,…****…. As a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I use nutrition as a foundation with food first approach to helping others thrive. She was specialize a plan speficially for you. However, she will focus on mitochondrial health, mineral balancing, lifestyle changes, movement, sunlight + vitamin D, transitioning off restrictive diets, trauma + nervous system regulation, sleep, EMFs, nature, and why the way you live your life, finding your purpose and the enjoyment you get out of your life impacts your health more than anything else.

The Story That Started Lo Waller Wellness
Welcome! Thank you for being here:) You can call me Lo or LoLo if Lauren sounds too formal!
For as long as I can remember I was overweight and never felt great. I grew up on processed food, you know… comic brownies, cool ranch tortilla chips, pizza bites…Sure, I could blame my parents for these pitiful eating habits. It was the 90’s and nobody knew any better, including my parents.
However, it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that my health took a turn for the worst! I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus that led to hypothyroidism. This eventually led to adrenal fatigue, poor metabolism and even more weight gain. A few years later I was in a horrific car crash that left me with crippling back pain, depressed, and reliant on opioids. I then went on to spend most of my adult with crippling anxiety and living out of fear. I was so desperate to control anything I could and decided to control my food intake because I was convinced “being thin” was the answer. I jumped from one quick-fix diet to the next. Shakes, fasting, keto, and low carb. You name it I’ve done it. My control became an obsession leading to an eating disorder. I became terrified of food and I hated my body.
I struggled with poor digestion, irregular and painful periods, depression, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, and crippling pain from my car accident…….. you name I had it! I was living completely out of alignment with my body. I was completely disconnected from my symptoms and only sought to suppress them through caffeine as a bandaid to get me through my day and food to numb me. I came to realize the resistance, pain, and dysfunction that I was experiencing in my life were a result of fear, emotional trauma, and stepping out of God’s design of my — body, mind, and spirit. I discovered that I needed to unlearn everything I had learned from the “Health world". I needed to let go of my perfectionism, step away from restriction, rules, and diets, and instead— dive into listening to my body and finding my inner knowing of my beautiful body.
Eventually, I became fed up and I started searching holistic foundations and went to Nutrition school which opened my eyes to the benefits of real food, a holistic lifestyle, and that there is not a one-size-fits-all-all approach. Everything started to make sense: reduce my stress, stop fasting, stop starving my body, stop trying to be perfect, stop overworking, stop obsessing, but rather eat to nourish my body, slow down, support my physiology, move my body. It was then that I began to experience the same energy levels that I had when I was 15 years old. I no longer experienced crippling back pain and barely even noticed I had a herniated disc if I am honest. My body was starting to come back to a place of balance and healing (not perfection!)
After all of my years of schooling and experience, I realized it was my obsession over trying to be perfect was the exact reason why I was stuck.
When working with me I will take a 1:1 approach. I will make sure that each plan is individualized to your special body, I will never ask for you to attain perfection (quite the opposite). I do not want to be miserable like so many coaches and plans made me in the past. I actually want you to enjoy your life, but to have enough energy to do so!
